Surgery
Just wanted to give everyone a quick update again. Sandra had surgery this afternoon in an attempt to make her more comfortable by removing the NG tube. Unfortunately the doctor was not able to do what he wanted but he was able to reduce some of the pressure in her abdomen which has made her more comfortable.
She is still not up to receiving visitors but the cards have been a joy to her. We will continue to share your comments with her.

You forever changed the life of every child you had in class. When I think of who I want to be when I grow up... I want to be just like you. You are such a wonderful person and you are in my heart of hearts. You were like a mother to me when my whole family was falling apart. I am sorry that you are in so much pain and I wish so much that things were better for you. We had so many good times with drama and Jackie Parker always be so uncontrolable! I love you like you were my own mother and to hear all the things you have gone through pains me. Though, you are an angel on Earth and we were all so lucky to have you as a teacher. you were truly meant to be a teacher, not to teacher us english but to be there for us and guide through are hardest years! ever since i came to logan rogersville i was a nobody an outcast... til i made it to middle school and met Mrs. Gaddy she inspired me to do so much more than just walk the hallways and go through the motions... she showed not just me but everyone she was around that there was more to life and gave us reason to live our life to the fullest... i am now writing and reading everyday and wanting to do so much more for everyone around me... I always wonder why the worst things happen to the best people. I have been praying and my church has been praying for you. You are the best person ever so strong and faithful. We all love you so much for these reasons and so many more I don't have time to mention. We have faith in the Lord Our Saivor for everything he dose is in a plan only he knows. I miss you so much. Megan, me, and our choir went to competition. I got the highest score and so did megan!!! it was awesome. I wish you were here so i could sing for you again. i always loved singing in front of you no matter how much you made me laugh i still sang. I just want you to know you are my favorite teacher that i have and ever will have. I will miss you so much and i will become a famous singer just for you and the day im on the stage getting my reward.haha. i will thank all of the people that helped me including you so EVERYONE WILL KNOW WHO YOU ARE. I don't even know where to start. I'll try to keep this short as I could write pages about how you've touched others lives as well as my own. You are the last person that should have to go through something like this. You have honestly touched more people thus far in your life than most do their entire lives. Your an amazing person with an even more amazing personality. You are able to get through to people in ways that many others will never understand. I only know this because you got through to me in ways nobody else could. I never would've looked at writing the way I do now if it wasn't for you and I can't thank you enough for changing my life. I am so sorry for what you are going through. My prayers are always with you.
